Ike may not have brought San Antonio high winds or heavy rains, but it certainly brought plenty of reason to worry for those with family and friends in the hurricane's path. At Trinity, some students could do little more than wait for word from their loved ones, while others dealt with the storm's stress by volunteering at the evacuee center at Trinity Baptist Church.

Excitement over the 2008 election has infected college campuses across the nation, an example of a rare epidemic that has symptoms which are positive. These symptoms can easily be seen at Trinity University. It starts with a desire to vote and, ultimately, escalates to a compulsion to ensure that others vote as well.
Alpha Kappa Psi joins Nation PKD march at Brackenridge Park

The Phi Delta Kappa sorority has organized a team that will walk this Saturday morning in the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation's Charity Walk at Brackenridge Park under the name of "Team Emma." The Gamma Chi Delta and Sigma Theta Tau sororities and the Phi Sigma Chi Fraternity have also organized teams and will be participating in the walk.
