CAW garners attention

Multicultural events serve as conduit for diversity discussion
Is Trinity University diverse? This is an open-ended question. It can mean many things to different people. When asked this question during Cultural Awareness Week (CAW), different students gave very different answers. Lately, I have been listening to several good friends complain of unwanted and unwarranted attention from the opposite sex. These ladies and gentlemen are not the blunt get-out-of-my-face type, but is their desire to avoid uncomfortable conversations misleading to those who seek their affections? First, this is a GOOD problem to have.

For some, the thought of poetry brings to mind incomprehensible combinations of metaphors created solely for dissection and interpretation at the hands of English majors. Others may conjure an image of a tormented teenager angrily scribbling rhymes late into the night to the hardest of hardcore music.
